It takes 450 years for PET bottles to decompose when buried underground, and 1 kg of PET bottles is equivalent to 0.8 liters of crude oil. Overuse of PET bottles has caused significant damage to environmental disasters and energy consumption.

On March 16, 2017, the "Focusing on Regenerated Functional Fibers, Creating a Green and Beautiful Life" event was jointly organized by Yizheng Zhongxing Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd./Jiangsu Yongyin Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. and China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, and hosted by the Trend Research and Promotion Studio of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association and the National Textile and Chemical Fiber Product Development Center at the Shanghai Hongqiao National Convention and Exhibition Center.
